Very Good. First edition thus. "Extracts from the whole of the wills contained in the first two books of wills at the District Probate Registry, Wells. These number about six hundred, and are copies, the originals being lost. The date is 1528-1536, though a few of the wills bear earlier dates." 234pp. Original blue pebbled cloth, gilt-stamped. Spine faded with ends a bit frayed, small bookstore label laid on front pastedown, small pen notation on half-title, newspaper offsetting on pages 194-195, still a very good copy.
