Good. This is a 1948 First Edition, signed and inscribed by the author. Dustcover pretty word along the edges, small tears and nicks, mostly along the top and front leading edge. Hardcover boards still very flat, minor edge wear, corners bowed and small bump but sharp. Spine softened at edges, no tears or fraying. Title on spine not faded. Hinges and gutters still very good, well attached to binding. End pages are yellowed, mostly towards edges, pages are otherwise unmarked or folded.
