As a child, I would check this book out from the school library regularly. In fact, my Dad and I built a working telegraph using pages from this book. The book is full of colorful pages, wonderful cartoon illustrations, and covers a wide range of topics. My only caveat to potential purchasers is that this book is dated being published in the 80's. There is a newer version out, for those interested. I bought the exact book I loved as a birthday gift for my daughter.

Great Book
My son devoured every picture! He took it out of the library multiple times, so it was worth the investment!

This was a gift for my grandson. Its always handy and no need to wait for boot-up time to look something up.

Updated Version
I purchased this for my 10 year old grandson, the updated version and he loves it. Calls me after each chapter to tell me about it.
