The impact of the Chinese Communist Revolution on the lives of millions of ordinary citizens is a topic that is often obfuscated by the censorship and the mirage of the recent economic development in China. In this intimate narrative, Li Mu rescues a Nation's forgotten history through his personal story. His journey started in an agricultural and fishing village in the country side of Guangdong where, targeted by the Chinese Communist Revolution during the 50s and 60s, his family was persecuted, defamed, tortured, and had their possessions confiscated.
