Fine in Near Fine jacket. First edition. Fine in near fine printed (French-folded) dustwrapper with a couple of small tears and small stains at the top of the front panel. Inscribed by the author to Volney Streamer. Tannenbaum was a prolific early-20th Century literary scholar, bibliographer, and paleographer, best known for his work on William Shakespeare and his contemporaries. Streamer was an actor and later Librarian of the Players' Club, and the author of several books, including at least one on Shakespeare.
