Excellent first hand account of a great battle during the first gulf war. Reminds us once again the American soldiers and American military equipment have no peers on the battlefield. Unfortunately it also points out the lack of combat leadership at the higher levels of command - something I witnessed in the Air Force during my active duty years.

Accurate
A well written, easy read.. I couldn't put it down. Having been there, I have to say he really hit the nail right on the head. Major MacGregor not only describes the events in wonderful detail, he also does an excellent job of introducing you to the men who were there with him. A great read for anyone, but also a sweet trip down memory lane for those who where there. Written by someone who truly understands what it means to be a warrior.
