VG. Red cloth with decorative gilt titles and figures to spine and front with stamped landscape design to front, gilt upper page edges, no jacket, 8vo. 1st edition (November 1909). 378pp. Index. Halftones, plates throughout. VG. Rear endpaper torn along gutter revealing webbing, but no effect upon hinges or binding (still, this is primary reason for downgrade from NF). Light spine slant also with no effect on binding. Spine end softening. Touches of surface loss to tips of all corners, with spot of fraying to cloth at upper front tip. Central cloth, gilt and figures all shining fine and bright, though one 1/2" x 1/4" spot of soil to mid front broard just below author's name. Pages bright and unmarked. Prev. owner's name along upper edge first pre-title page (not ffep). A heavy item, non-US orders please inquire first.
