National Library of Poetry
About the "1995 poetry contest" conducted by the "National Library of Poetry" and the book, "Walk Through Paradise"---in which I was a contributor; well, the organization promised additional services at additional cost that went unfulfilled. I did receive my copy of "Walk Through Paradise" but was given a "blank tape" that was supposed to have my poem recorded on it by a professional reader.
The following year: I entered another poem, mailed my check of $35.00 for the "finished product"---a book of all the poems in the contest. I never got the book. I don't know if my poem was ever included; Florence Henderson and Senator McGovern, and I believe Johnny Cash were part of the promotion that year--everything on the surface on the "up and up."
The poem I submitted in the 1996 contest was my wife's favorite---I dedicated it to her---she died December 31, 1995.
I'm not asking for my money back, although I do have a complete file on my submission and a copy of the check; what I would like to know is whether my poem was published; if so I want to buy the book--which would mean paying for it a second time.

Thank you,
