Taking its name from one of the many earlier working titles of what was to become Schumann's Op. 113 "Märchenbilder", the program includes both early and late Schumann compositions, the early Op. 11, no. 4 Hindemith Sonata, and a piece written especially for Sachse: Martin Kraemer's Elegie for Viola and Piano, "No More Words".
