Verano '98 is an uneven collection of contemporary Latin pop, dance-pop and mainstream pop. Not everything here is Latino -- there's a radio mix of Ultra Nate's "Free," Brooklyn Bounce's rallying cry "Get Ready to Bounce" and RuPaul's campariffic "It's Raining Men" -- but everything is designed for the dance floor.
