Fine. Size: Folio-over 12-15" tall; Stated Second Edition of this fine exemplar of the master glass-blower's best work, published first a decade prior, this edition being restricted to 1, 500 copies. This copy signed at first free endpaper. Bound handsomely in a big, tall, folio format in brick-red cloth covers, gilt lettering in big, bold fashion to front cover, and three pasted on, tall, vertical illustrations, quite fine. The photographs are by Philip Amdal, Dick Busher, Morgan Rockhill, Roger Schreiber and Rob Vinnedge. The plates are printed in four-color format on matte (coated and uncoated) paper stocks with special fifth and sixth colors added to selected signatures. That long section is followed by a nearly as long section comprised of full-page, full-color drawings that preceded them. Artist statement and acknowledgments and an artist chronology follow. All in, a sumptuously produced homage to the decorative arts. Unpaginated, but roughly 100 pp. Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
