I have read this book and now I am reading it again and trying to apply the pictures to the plants. It is amazing how the Indians took care of theirselves with all these plants that we just take for granted. They are everywhere. On the side of the road, in fields, on river banks. And when you start reading and see the pictures you start recognizing them and it is so interesting. I have several ailments and I would like to try some of them but I am still a little weary of them but I know there will comea day when I will try one of them on something simple just to see how it wooks. Right now I am busy studying them so that I can recognize them when I am out in the field. I have so enjoyed this book and I would encourage anyone who likes plants to buy this book.
