The group featured the rhythm and brotherly duo of Aston and Carlton Barrett, as well as other Jamaican studio luminaries like organist/pianists Glen Adams and Winston Wright and bassist Boris Gardiner. Their sound was a stomping and idiosyncratic one, particularly appreciated by skinheads in Britain. This Trojan collection tells part of the story with a bevy of top instrumentals (sorry, no "Return of Django" here) and even a few vocal and DJ sides featuring the Termites and David Barker.
