"One Life To Live" is a fine early release by the Manhattans featuring their original lead, George Smith. The Ethics' "Farewell" featuring Ron Tyson is sweet Philly magic. "Friends By Day (Lovers By Night)" by the Whatnauts is an early example of the blowing into the microphone technique that Luther Vandross uses to wow audiences.
