This book is Williams travels to Island of Nevis, Port of Spain, St. Kitts, St. Eustatius, San Matin, St. Barts, Monteserrat. With a chapter on the "rioting in St. Kitts). Williams, as "a young man of 22 at such stirring times it was natural enoguht that he should heed the call of his country and enter the army. He enlisted as a private, in the spring of 1862, in the Fourth Regiment of Massachusetts Volunteers."
