This is actually a very good tunnel engineering handbook. The book approaches tunnel engineering from a practical standpoint - not only the theoretical aspect. It's goal, in my opinion, is to teach students the various aspects of tunnel engineering from safety to machinery to geotechnical reports - all from a practical standpoint.
