Darrell Littlejohn leads the Monitors, but it's no wonder their renditions of "Tears of a Clown" and "Going to a Go Go" sound like the Miracles -- Littlejohn is Robinson's nephew. The Contours dish a tasteful "Tracks of My Tears" with a slightly different arrangement; Sammy Ward lights a warm fire on "You Really Got a Hold on Me"; Bobby Taylor obviously loves singing "Get Ready"; and Linda Griner updates her "Goodbye Cruel Love" with a spoken part. Mary Wells does four of her biggest hits satisfactorily, and Carolyn Crawford shines on two efforts.
