Very Good in Very Good jacket. 4to-over 9¾"-12" tall. 1st edition, large 4to, 196pp, frontis + photo reproductions, line drawings, map endpapers; edited by Isabel Bailey; VG+/Fine Copy in VG+/Fine DJ; Ms Bailey spent many years researching the eventual author of History and Antiquities of Boston, culminating in Pishey Thompson: Man of Two Worlds; but the initial trigger for her explorations was the discovery of this section of Thompson's diaries which had lain dormant in a house in Boston, presumably since not long after it was written.
