I haven't seen the 4th edition but this was a lot cheaper. The trail guide books are essential in my opinion. Easy to use, helpful information along the way and really great breakdowns. This is standard stuff for anyone who needs to know more about muscoloskeletal anatomy. I would love to see more on fascia unless that's in the 4th edition.

Very helpful book!
I would recommend this book to anyone who has to learn or work with the muscles of the human body. It is very clear and very easy to understand. The illustrations are also very well done and work in well together with the text.

Incredible Guide!
I use this book in my Kinesiology class every day. It's an incredible tool that lays out the muscles, joints, ligaments, bones and movements. It has been an integral part of my studies and so far I've yet to come across another book that has helped me more. I highly recommend you get this book and the study guide for the Trail Guide to the Body....you won't be led astray.

Trail Guide to the body - cards
Good graphic prints on the card. It breaks each area down into very clear pictures with labels next to the area. The only thing I found too difficult to contend with was the huge amount of cards on the ring binder. They didn't turn over very well.

Flashcards Never Looked So Awesome
I have the book that these flashcards are based on; it was required while I got my massage therapist's license but I keep it by me because I love how simple and easy it is to get the information I need out of it. While I wasn't fortunate enough to afford the flashcards, many of my classmates did and I got my paws on those things every chance I could; I LOVE them and I've been pining for a copy of my own ever since. I could absolutely see myself using them to refer to in my own practice ESPECIALLY with clients because the pictures are so easy to look and get an idea of what the heck is going on under our skin! Highly recommend these to any students, teachers, or health practitioners even if you aren't in bodywork!
