By the time this album was released in 1995, the Battlefield Band had nothing left to prove. Twenty-five years of simultaneously carrying the torch of traditional Scots music and pushing the envelope of tradition had yielded well over a dozen excellent albums (and a couple that were merely very good) and had long since secured the band's place in the history books.
