DO NOT BUY!!
Do not buy this book! This is the second version! The third version is available(at about the same price) and about two years newer and since these versions are at least 5 years old(third version is 5 years and the second version is 7 years) the info contained within is dated. Having said that, the book is well written and is good reading for a beginner and the price is right. I have not seen the third version but I believe the difference is that the second version does not cover the XP operating whereas the third version does.
