"This Used to Be My Playground" was only issued domestically as a cassette single and never on CD, and was unavailable on any of her albums until the release of her ballads collection, Something to Remember. This disc is the three-track import single for the song. The first version is the "definitive" (or single) version of the song, which is followed by a seven-minute instrumental. The last track on the single is the long version, clocking in at over six minutes, and with an extra verse. That version is unavailable on any of her albums. So for the collector, this single is worth having for the long version and the instrumental, and for the sheer fact of obtaining this hard-to-find disc on CD.
