I read this book after "Measure of a Man" to find out more about Mr. Poitier. I found it equally as good as the other book and it offered more insight into the films he has made. It also recaps the early years from Cat Island and tells more about his marriages, friendships, and civil rights. If you liked "Measure of a Man" this is a must read!
