Seller's Description:
Fair in Fair jacket. A Diary: 1935-1950. 5H. Sewn binding in full cloth-covered boards, in dustjacket. FIrm binding, good hinges, spine slightly off square. No markings. However, I have rated this copy "Fair only" because the page-edges are heavily foxed; the foxing is also evident on the endpapers and in the margins. There is some discoloration to the cloth; fading to the spine; and bumping to the top corners. The dustjacket is unclipped ("30s"), but it is also significantly foxed, with edgewear including a 1/2" creased tear at the lower front corner and a small hole in the front flap, with sunning to the spine and the top of the back panel.
