If we measure the molecular conductivity, the mobility of ions, the diffusion coefficient, and the gas constant, by one system of measurement, consistently applied, it will be found that A = U + V, and according to equation (5), That is, that while fhe molecular conductivity is simply equal to the $-- of the ion mobilities, the reciprocal of the diffusian coefficient is proportion! to the sum of the reciprocals of Hie mobilities, thcsi'Jbeing also included uwkr the additive properties.
