Moderate browning and foxing. Written on the first blank leaf (which is in tatters and almost entirely detached): Thomas Down's Book bought at Danbury at the Printing office 3/4 July 12 A D 1792." The subscriber's list included the Mayor of New York, the Vice President, Secretary of the Treasury, Secretary of State, and the Chief Justice of the United States.
