Good+ Frontis; 8vo 8"-9" tall; 6 volumes complete, uniformly bound in contemporary calf with red and black leather title and volume labels to spines. Front boards detached or nearly so from all 6 volumes. Rear board detached from V 6 and some rear joints tender. V 2 is lacking front free endpages; V 3 is lacking title page and rear blank endpages; V4 is lacking front blank endpages. V 5 with shallow chipping to leather at spine ends and with some discoloration and crazing to the leather along the front edge of the upper board. Small, early 20th century paper numeral labels to spines are faded and unobtrusive. Prior ownership cut paper bookplates to some pastedowns and in manuscrip to front endmatter. Overall a still nice set. G++
