Seller's Description:
Near Fine. Second printing, five months after the first. Bookplate of collector Clifton Waller Barrett, small, light stain on front fly, and spine lettering a trifle rubbed, else near fine, lacking the dustwrapper. Inscribed by Jeffers on a tipped-in leaf to the author and occasional hobo: "To Jim Tully, with admiration for his powerful and sincere work. Robinson Jeffers." Unlike most authors, Jeffers seems to have often provided inscriptions meant to be tipped into his books. An attractive copy with a nice association.
