Seller's Description:
Fair in Poor jacket. 295 pages (complete). A genial inscription from McNish is on the title page (dated: 1968). There is also a stamp from 'The Big Hole and Kimberley Mine Museum'. This copy of the story of the Diamond Rush of 1869 is mild and well-weathered. The dustjacket is worn, marked, scuffed. It is stable and secure. The boards are neat and tidy. Included are three press cuttings about the book and the author. Within, the pages have age-related tanning and foxing all about in varying degrees. Nonetheless, the pages are amiable, assured, tidy, clear, certain and in general, most agreeable. fk.
