Fair. 16mo 6"-7" tall; 307 pages; Period calf covered boards. 1795 ownership signature of Joseph Wickoff [Wycoff], likely a Pennsylvania militia member captured by the British in 1779 and held in Ontario until 1783. This copy is well worn with shabby stressed boards, leahter scarred and rubbed and peeling from the top front corner. Some light worming to leather and pastedowns. Boards bruised and tender at corners. Front endpages missing; first leaf is the title page. Contents complete but toned and with numerous signatures starting. Rear endpage missing chunks. First several leaves with a tea colored damp stain covereg 2/3 of their surface. Fair only.
