This is an excellent way to start Heidegger. Many philosophy prof. consider Kant and Heidegger the most difficult to understand in all of philosophy, that said Dr. Kovacs does a wonderful job with this book. He manages to make the subject matter understandable without sacraficing the richness or complexitiy.
This is a must read for anyone who is serious about philosophy.
Although not nessesary it is helpful to have some understanding of Nietzsche and Kant.
