However, upon his voyages to various exotic destinations, he becomes fluent in telling a story of what he has seen, and is inspired to put it down in writing ! In " Narcissus", he winds a tale involving different reactions to the illness and demise of an alien in their midst: a last minute recruit for the boats crew who is initially unwanted by the men !
