From the compelling plot to the poetic prose, it is outstanding on every level."--Jeff Zentner, Morris Award-winning author of The Serpent King and Goodbye Days "Suspenseful and gritty, Hide with Me is a beautifully written novel that captivates from the very first page." --Robin Roe, author of A List of Cages "With sharp writing and a plot that erupts, Hide with Me is a suspenseful, breathlessly paced thriller that is impossible to put down."--Julie C. Dao, author of Forest of a Thousand Lanterns and Kingdom of the Blazing Phoenix As a genuine bond develops between the two lonely teens, they concoct a story to allow Jane to attend high school with Cade, masquerading as his cousin. Tension builds as a cold-blooded drug boss gets closer to finding Jane, threatening her new friends and their families...Short chapters and plenty of gritty action make this a good recommendation for fans of Paul Griffin or Roland Smith.-- Booklist

Seller's Description:
None. Good. The complete poetical works of James Thomson. Undated, with the engraved dedication, title page and vignette from the 1794 edition. However, this edition lacks the dated engraved leaf with 'Cooke's Pocket Edition of Select British Poets' title. The tail pieces are also different from the 1794 edition online although pagination is the same. There is also an additional title page to this edition listing some of the specific poems. Therefore, has been dated c1795. With three plates, the dedication, title page and frontispiece. Containing his popular poem The Seasons, Hymn on Solitude and more. This is the Cooke edition, from the Cooke Pocket Sized Series. From the antiquarian library of Christopher Rowe. Christopher Rowe was a schoolmaster in Norwich and then in Bristol. Throughout his career he inspired many to love literature, history and music. He was a specialist on 17th century printer and bookseller, Humphrey Moseley and began his, unfortunately unfinished, PhD dissertation on him. In a half calf binding with paper covered boards. Externally, sound with slight rubbing to the extremities and joints. Small patches of rubbing to the paper covered boards. Front hinge and joint are tender with cords showing. Prior owner's bookplate to front pastedown, Christopher Rowe, with his signature to the verso of front endpaper. Another prior owner's inscription to engraved title page and to the first title page. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age toned with light spotting throughout. Good.
