perfect for my son
I can't believe I managed to get ahold of this book--one of my favorites when I was a child. I was looking for a book for my fourth grader to read. He is not a big reader and I always have trouble finding books that will interest him. This story hasn't lost any of its magic since I read it decades ago. It is a simple, engaging tale that weaves in bits of the history of old New York.
