A pleasant review of Elizabeth and her sisters early years. A respectful yet exciting look at the raising of the royal children. The sad part is that its publication angered the Royal family so much that they cut Marion from all social contact. Considering other exposes of the royals this was their most unkind cut. Its interesting to compare Victoria's childhood with Elizabeth's both in the character of uncles and cousins and the parenting skills involved in the royal education programs. a very nice book.
