Frontis, plates, maps. Royal 8vo. Three volume set containing First, Second and Third Series. A set of three volumes from the Hudson's Bay Company Series (volumes IV, V and VI). This set was obtained from the library of The Hudson's Bay Record Society, Canadian Committee, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The spines are sunned, except for a small rectangular label residue. The notation 'Vol. 4', 'Vol. 6' and 'Vol. 7' have been penned neatly on the respective spines, There are several Hudson's Bay Company rubber stamps to the feps. The boards show slight edgewear and minor bumping, the front hinge on the First Series is weak and the binding a bit shaken, the contents of each volume are otherwise clean throughout. Overall, a good to good plus set. Each volume is numbered 56 of a limited edition of 550, issued only to Members of the Society.
