Signed presentation from the author on the front endpaper, "Wilfred Hanchant, from John 1956." Also signed by the author on the title page. Including a signed postcard from the author, loosely inserted, "Dear Wilfred, Christmas is coming and the geese are getting fat...Yours John." Wilfred Hanchant (1902-1978)-eccentric, editor, curator, designer, writer. Associate of Crowley, Lawrence and H E Bates who described him as a "pink bearded ex-embalmer." Interestingly Symonds wrote the definitive biography of Crowely. Very good in very good dust jacket, with slight edgewear but no loss and slight tanning at the rear.
