Very Good in Good jacket. Book Signed twice by the subject, A.J. Foyt. Inscribed on the half-title page, "To John IV, Best Wishes" and signed and dated (12-17-70) by Foyt. In addition, taped on to the rear pastedown is a small card, also signed by Foyt. "JHK IV" and the date 4/30/71 are also written on the card, likely in a different hand. Very Good in a Good dust jacket. Blue cloth boards are clean and in nice shape. A couple of small, light stains near bottom of page 63. The price-clipped jacket has some edge-tears, with the longest being three-quarters-inch. Corners with small chips and there's some loss at the spine-ends. 160 pages. This book came from the estate of John Henry Kirby IV, the great grandson of John Henry Kirby, early Texas oilman, lumber magnate, Texas industrialist, and noted Houstonian.
