Comparative religion Origins
For those who study comparative religion and are open to writings and books from the past, this is an excellent text. I have found older books are clearer, less biased and more informative than later works. We tend to look for new discoveries in religious texts. There is also merit in discovery of older writings. The historical beginnings to current times (1950s) in this case is clear and well presented. Potter did a very good overview of world traditions synopsis'.
