Muir was asked to accompany because of knowledge in botany and geology. Grey cloth stamped in white with nice pictorial paper label of the Corwin in ice on front cover. Top page edges gilt. xxxii, 279pp. with index and photos. Faint water stain at lower half here and there otherwise text is clean. Pages have a slight wave-hardly noticeable. Spine has a slight crease. Binding is in very good condition. Tightly bound. RARE. no jacket. Overall in Good condition.
