Large 8vo, pp. 59. Bright, full-color illustrations. Textured paper over boards. Edges slightly scuffed, o/w a nice copy in little torn dj. Two dolls show many interesting techniques with paints and crayons. One, using turpentine to manipulate a crayon drawing, is not suitable for the 6-10 age given on the dj, however, since we now know turpentine vapor is dangerous. Cutting potato stamps would be another iffy technique without adult help. First published in Germany.
