Conveys the mood and feeling of a dedicated MD at the time, travelling by snowshoes to lumber camps and patients in the deep woods, delivering human care and decent medical help. Helpful window into the Olde World of New England Yankee grit and practicality.
Reminds one of the different world that was leading up to our day. Fun.
