There is probably a very good reason this book is out of print. It is written on a very basic level. It is great for anyone who is teaching composition or design at a very basic level but otherwise too basic for use. An art teacher, or any other teacher used to teaching in an experiential way may never want to crack it open since the understanding of composition, form, contrast, etc.. is reinforced at every level in one's education but a design teacher could use it well since the biggest complaint about design school, is that design principles are not taught.
