Moderate tanning to endpapers; the plate illustration opposite page 16 has a few superficial scores on the surface of the blank back side as though used briefly underneath a piece of paper for writing. The result is that there are a few corresponding raised parts of the surface on the illustrated side. Otherwise a clean, tight copy.
