Read the book
Living in the Maryland Campaign area, the book is an outstanding aid while walking in the foot steps of the armies. There is nothing like standing on South Mountain, Harpers Ferry, and Antietam with this book in hand to understand the fog of battle. Used the book for a class assignment staff ride, the work was done for me.
