THE TWO OF US
MY LIFE WITH JOHN THAW
The second title should have warned me that this book was not going to as much about John Thaw as I would have liked.
However, for those who like reading biographies and peeking into the private lives of the rich and famous this is the book for them.
It would be especially fascinating to those who are interested in the British theater and TV scene.
The telling of childhood and early career jump back and forth between that of John Thaw and his wife, Sheila Hancock, the author of this book. The whole book is interspersed with Sheila's diary entries of the three years before and after John Thaw's untimely death.
There are plenty of photos and a some poems and lyrics
The book would not have lost any of its appeal if the occasional swear word had been omitted.
