blast from the past
Great book. Read it as a boy and still has 'that magic.' Glad there is a service like Albris to bring back the memories.

Very imaginative fantasy
This may be for kids, but I read it first at age 57. This is a real hoot. It's no wonder this book has been in print so long. The fabulous adventures of the professor had me wishing the book would not end. The communal restaurants, the unlimited wealth, and the islands entertainment were all great reading. You will truly enjoy this one, no matter what your age.
