This is the story of a grandmother's search for a diagnosis for her grandson. Although at times she faced criticism, opposition and disapproval - from the medical profession and even within the family - she knew that there had to be an answer. Because it was difficult to find a carer during school holidays the grandparents took Harry with them on their travels and to him they called them adventures. The search turned into a wonderful journey which started on the beautiful island of St Kitts, where by chance they met the incredible Dr Chuck. She describes the places and many people that they met along the way and the help that was given to them so generously. Her wish is that the information and practical help in this story will be supportive not only to parents, but to all these people who look after children, and may it bring hope and joy to the parents of children with special needs. This is not a tale of doom and gloom but a happy story which may make you smile. It is full of hope, joy and love and in the end the answer is found almost on her doorstep.
