Very Good. Size: 8vo-over 7.75"-9.75" tall; Super nice copy in silver/green embossed cloth with sharp tips and bumped spine ends. Head of spine rear gutter has 1/4" split in the cloth, shows light color loss at periphery, inner hinges and vividly illustrated endpapers fine with tidy gift dedication and date on fep. Small number 14 (printed, as published) at foot of title page. Top edge of page block is gilt. There is a closed taped tear on pp 231, and some surface soil on the gutter area in the center of title page. No text unreadable by any of these flaws. Displays beautifully from the spine and front cover paper illustration overlay shows some small specs of color loss but still looks great. See image.
