I recently read "The Travis Club" and I was immediately drawn into the character, Taylor Nichols. The surrounding characters were his friends and they were drawn into the mystery of real estate ventures in the San Antonio area. The politics and cover-up of this adventure reminded me of a mystery solved by Matlock or Columbo back in "the day". This new edge material with vintage techniques was a page-flipper and I finished the book within one week.. I highly recommend this book for someone that enjoys a well written new classic mystery with a solid ending!
